Teacher-of-Literacy.com is a fast growing education resource used by teachers across the world. Specialising in English and Literacy teaching at KS1 and KS2, the online Teacher-of-Literacy resource bank offers hundreds of pages of teaching materials, schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching tools, all created by English and Literacy specialist teachers.
Teacher-of-Literacy.com offers fully editable PowerPoint based resources using ICT to add another dimension to the teaching of Literacy and enabling teachers to adapt the content to suit their specific needs. To accompany the PowerPoint based resources Teacher-of-Literacy.com also contains an expanding selection of worksheets to use in the classroom. All of Teacher-of-Literacy.com’s resources can be downloaded and used offline and stored digitally, saving paper and maximizing flexibility.
How do I find what I’m looking for on Teacher-of-Literacy.com?
Using Teacher-of-Literacy is simple. All of the resources can be accessed from the main menu under the title ‘Literacy Resources’. Click on ‘Literacy Resources’ and you can view a page listing the different categories that our materials fall into. You can either buy the resources you would like on a Pay As You Go basis or become a member and access all the resources for a minimum of 12 months. Alternatively you can search for a resource using the search function.
How does Pay As You Go work?
The resource libraries are organised by topic. When you find a resource you would like, just click on the 'Add to basket' icon and follow the onscreen prompts. As soon as payment is completed we will send you an email enabling you to download the resource.
Who are we?
Teacher-of-Literacy.com was created in October 2010 by Teacher-of-English creator teacher Martin Grundy. Martin has over 12 years experience of teaching in schools in the North West of England.
How does membership work?
Becoming a member brings users many benefits. It allows you access to the members' area of the site where all the resources are available to download instantly. Individuals can join for an annual fee of only £49. This represents incredible value for money as members are authorised to download anything on the site free of charge once membership has been paid and will have immediate access to all new content added during the 12 month membership period (new resources are added on a regular basis). Depending on the type of membership you opt for, subscribers are given a number of credits to spend on the site each month. Credits are our very own currency. Membership gives users a number of credits per month to download any number of files. Credits are spent whenever a file is downloaded. For more information about membership click 'join now'.
Who makes the resources?
The resources have been made by the site’s creator teacher Martin Grundy and a number of other English and Literacy specialist contributors.
How can I become a member?
You can join online with your credit/debit card, bank details or PayPal account using PayPal’s secure online payment system and receive your membership details by email usually within minutes.
You can also pay by cheque, BACS or purchase order. To join and pay using these methods simply complete the online form (click here) and select 'Cheque / BACs' as your payment method. This will create an invoice which will be emailed to the email address you have provided on the application form.

How much does it cost?
Individual membership is £49 per year and School Membership is £139 for 12 months (prices include VAT).
How do I join?
Go to our membership page and read our terms and conditions. You must agree to these before you can become a member. Complete the relevant application form, then follow the onscreen prompts to make payment either via PayPal, Credit or Debit card or Cheque.
Upon completing online your payment, you will receive an email to the registered email address, asking you to verify the member account. Once verified, you will then be able to login and access the online resources. If paying by cheque, you will be sent an email when payment has cleared, with login notification.

Is it secure to join online?
Yes. Credit and debit card transactions are handled by Sagepay and PayPal's secure server and are fully encrypted in line with banking industry standards. Teacher-of-Literacy.com will have no access to your bank account or card details.
Why do your contact details only have a PO Box number?
Teacher-of-Literacy.com is a very small business which is run from home. The PO Box is a correspondence address used instead of publishing a home address on the internet.
Does Teacher-of-Literacy.com have my card details?
No, your card details are never passed to us.
What happens when my subscription is due for renew?
We will send you a reminder by email 30 days before the renewal is due. If you wish to cancel at this point just drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org stating your wish to cancel and the subscription will expire. If you wish to rejoin prior to your renewal date your subscription will be extended by one year from the expiry date.
How do I log in?
Login at the top right of each page and enter your username and password. You will now be able to download the resources.
What if I have forgotten my username or password?
If you have fogotten your username or password please click the forgot link on the top right of each page and we will email your details to you.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Just email us at email@example.com or call us on 01942 814126 14 days before the account is due to renew.
I have a new email address but cannot update the email details on my account
Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll update it for you.
